What we do with your membership fee:
- Surveys – In the 2016 we contributed to the data that helped designate Newquay as a Marine Conservation Zone. We are still involved in a variety of projects that survey the coastline and they are accessible to all!
- Events and Activities – we run a programme of activities and events open to all. From educational talks to beach cleans, rockpool rambles to family events, all the way to training our community on scientific survey methods. Check out our calendar page for upcoming events
- Campaigning and lobbying – working with other organisations and businesses to make Newquay, Cornwall and our world better. From raising awareness of global issues such as marine plastics, to solving Newquay’s litter problem, promoting our delicious, sustainable seafood and supporting local businesses to become more environmentally friendly. See who our supporters are and how you can get involved!
