Necklace shell egg cases (not the inside of a tennis ball!)

During my regular exercise/beach cleans, I’ve been finding a lot of these. They are the egg cases of the necklace shell (Euspira catena). At first site they look like plastic debris of even the innards from a tennis ball (lots of dogs on my beach!) but no. Find out more about this shell here https://www.marlin.ac.uk/species/detail/2063
