Amazing film from the fabulous Cornwall Climate Care team - 2pm this afternoon 🥰Join us, after our Finance in Cornwall event at Newquay Cinema, for a free screening of the latest film from Cornwall Climate Care, Power to the People. The film explores the exciting opportunities and huge challenges facing us as we wean ourselves off fossil fuels – from a farmer who’s found a novel way to combine food production with solar panels, opportunities to use our historic heritage to power the future, and projects to harness the amazing untapped heat 5km down in the Earth’s crust. After the 40 minute film there will be a short Q&A with Gill Scott Anderson from Cornwall Climate Care and the energy expert Paul Martin, executive director of Community Power Cornwall. Register to attend here: ow.ly/LMNE50RjAIY

It was Earth Day on Monday 22nd April and we were invited by the The Headland Hotel and Spa to host a beach clean on Fistral Beach with their staff. We collected a fair amount of rubbish as well as barbed wire from the dunes and a fair amount of rope which we had to cut out. Thanks for inviting us! Olivia Giannakoudakis
